Gites and Bed & Breakfast in Southwest France - Nestled in 15 acres of private grounds in a peaceful location is our property, Le Four à Sel, a group of french holiday homes in the Dordogne. Secluded but not isolated , it is just 5 minutes from shops in Montignac and the Lascaux caves and 25 minutes from Sarlat . The riverside setting is stunning : enjoy magnificent views of lush cornfields from the bedroom window ,swaying poplar trees by the riverside and onsite facilities to amuse all ages: a children's play ground with swings ,slides ,a football field and badminton area, Table tennis in the covered play area, a covered terrace for al fresco dining and BBQ's whatever the weather, 450 meters of private fishing from dawn to dusk , a courtyard for boules and free Wifi. We offer Bed and Breakfast as well as Self Catering accommodation in our Gites which sleep 15, 8 and 5 .They can be rented individually or in tandem. Our 3 gites can accommodate up to 30 guests, perfect for group accommodations, large family holidays , and special occasion gatherings like birthdays or weddings.

This is an ideal base to explore the Perigord ,an area that is great for walking ,cycling and golf holidays. For golf lovers, an 18 hole golf course is just a 40 minute drive .
