Travel information and how to get to
us
By road:
From Calais or Boulogne, follow the A26 then the A1 to Paris. Circling Paris,
follow the A11 then the A10 to Orleans. At Orleans take the A71 in the direction
of Bourges. At Vierzon turn onto the A20 to Limoges and Brive la Gaillarde. Leave
the A20 at Brive and follow the N89, direction of Perigueux, to Le Lardin St
Lazare. In the centre of Le Lardin, turn left to Montignac-Lascaux. On entering
Le Port d’Aubas (signed) there is a left turn for a bridge across the Vezere to Aubas. DO NOT GO on the bridge but carry on and the next turn left is Le Four a Sel.

If you are approaching from Bordeaux
along the A89, at the end of the motorway follow the N89 to Le Lardin St
Lazare, direction of Brive la Gaillarde.
In the centre of Le Lardin turn
right on the D704 to”Montignac-Lascaux”. On entering Le Port
d’Aubas (signed) there is a left turn for a bridge across the Vezere to Aubas. DO NOT GO on the bridge but carry on .
The next turn left is Le Four a Sel.
From Bergerac,
follow the D703 to Sarlat-la-Caneda. From Sarlat, take the D704 in the
direction of Brive la Gaillarde, following signs to Montignac. On entering
Montignac, traffic turns right across the Vezere. Le Four a Sel is 2
kms from Montignac on the D704, on the right.

Flybe operate from Birmingham, Bristol, Exeter, Leeds Bradford and Southampton.

Flybe operate from Bristol, Norwich and Southampton.
BMIBaby operate from Birmingham and Manchester.
Car hire is available at both airports. Le Four a Sel is two hours from
Bordeaux Airport and one and a half hours from Bergerac Airport.
There is a new airport opening at Cressensac, only 40 minutes from Le
Four a Sel, at the end of 2009. It is planned to accommodate several
of the low cost airlines.
By train:
The nearest train station is Condat le Lardin, 10 minutes away, on the
Brive la Gaillarde to Perigueux and Bordeaux line. Train from Paris to Brive is 4 hours.We would be happy
to arrange a taxi for you to be picked up from the station.
