News & Events
Evening Markets in July/August whereby local producers sell
their wine, cheese, fruit, fois gras and meat. You buy what you would
like to eat from any of the various stalls, hand it to someone manning
the barbeques for him to cook, then you take it to eat at large communal
tables, listen to the local band, dance and be merry. Great atmosphere
and great value for money.
There are several fêtes throughout the spring and summer
months in all the surrounding towns and villages. These usually
consist of an open air 3 or 4 course meal, some entertainment such
as live music and dancing. It is generally necessary to book. Announcements
are displayed in the local supermarkets and roadside closer to
the date.
